hello, fedi
i think i'm figuring out the fedi. i enjoy writing as a way to decompress/debrief after doing some research, or working out the solution to a problem. i recognize it's more for me than anyone else, though occasionally others apparently find my words helpful.
mastodon is a good place to fire off thoughts into the void aimed at my favorite community (hi @infosec.exchange!), and today's long form writing/good deed was published to a github issue comment (and there it shall stay). i have a blog i have been neglecting on github pages; it's a chore to maintain and not very federated, but has historically been that place where i put things i want the world to know (so you can be proud of me).
so what's this? this is my self-hosted, ActivityPub-integrated blog... instance... thing. it's currently on microblog.pub and it has a few kinks (don't we all), and the code/parent repo has gone a bit stale, but it has potential.
this isn't the final form, and i may not stick with the current platform. but this is the home i feel like i've been looking to establish for myself. out here in the wild federated world.
